Refrigeration Engineer
SKOPE Industries have positioned themselves as a commercial refrigeration market leader by building on their history of proven, robust technology and customising it to fit today's commercial needs. The facility in Christchurch, New Zealand is one of the largest design and innovation centres of its kind in Australasia. Operating as a design partner, SKOPE offer customised product solutions to a number of international and local beverage and dairy companies and provide a full range of food service refrigeration. Manufacturing both in Christchurch and China has been instrumental to SKOPE's recent success.
We are looking for a "hands on" Refrigeration Engineer to focus on the research, development and design of new refrigeration products and components, as well as enhance existing refrigeration products and components.
You will ideally have a trade qualification or BE (Mech.) qualification or equivalent and proven experience in servicing and/or designing refrigeration systems.
This role is based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Application Support/Business Analyst

The facility in Christchurch, New Zealand is one of the largest design and innovation centres of its kind in Australasia.
We are looking for an experienced JDE Application Support Analyst to manage our ERP system, JD Edwards.
As the in-house guru, you will ideally have extensive knowledge across all modules of JDE version 8.12, SQL skills, knowledge of the SDLC, report writing skills (preferably in Discoverer), JDE configuration experience and a working knowledge of Esker. Assisting in the management of third party and external vendors will also be required.
Your knowledge of JDE and the development of your knowledge in the company will enable you to assist SKOPE in the review and refinement of our business processes and take the lead on future JDE upgrades.
You will have outstanding business analysis skills and a proven track record of capturing business requirements and translating these into functional and technical specifications.
Customer focused, you will manage security, provide JDE training and develop and maintain the associated documentation (e.g. requirements, design, testing, operations, interface, user guides etc). Always willing to go the extra mile, you view a problem as a challenge not a setback.
